What is AWI-Certified? (Architectural Woodwork Institute)
Hands-On Woodworking is AWI-CERTIFIED. There are currently only 26 certified shops in the state of North Carolina (and only two in Charlotte) with this prestigious designation. There are companies listing themselves as "AWI" when they are in fact, only in the general membership of AWI. You must pass critical quality standards to reach CERTIFIED status. We are very proud to have met these high construction standards. One way to verify a company's certification is by going to the AWI Quality Certification Program website located HERE.
