Custom CNC Router Services
Our CNC router adds an element of detail and precision that shops without cannot reproduce. The CNC wood router uses computer numerical control (CNC) and high rotation speeds to make all the custom millwork for your project.
Hands-On Woodworking offers custom CNC router services. Our approach is to offer you a clear path of how to get the results you are after.
Most customers fit in one of the following categories:
- Need a single prototype to present to another manufacturer
- Need a small quantity run to test market a product
- Needs help to detail a prototype that will lead to manufacturing the final product
- Need a unique millwork detail such as a column, decorative ceiling, unique mantel design, or radius form
We are happy to sign confidentiality agreements and put together a program that will fit your specific needs. For example:
1. You have an idea and simple drawings. The original consultation is at no charge to establish your needs and budget. Design and programming time are billed on an hourly basis until a final product is developed. If your idea is a product we can manufacture in the quantity you need, we then establish firm pricing and go to production.
2. You have detailed drawings (many file types such as .dwg can be imported directly into our system) and need either parts or a complete product manufactured. We import the drawing directly into our system and you pay little to nothing for programming. We will do the first run on an hourly basis and then establish a production price after the initial run is approved. If you come in with a product and a target price, we will do our best to let you know if we can meet your expectations.
